About Us
The Royal Croquettes are a collective of recent graduates from the Royal Conservatoire, representing the vanguard of a new generation of jazz musicians. Dedicated to the sounds of the 1920s, 30s, and 40s, they breathe fresh life into traditional jazz with a contemporary perspective. Their rising profile has already seen them perform extensively at the Breda Jazz Festival and take center stage as headliners at both the Domburg and Breda Jazz Festivals.
Inspired by legends such as Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington, the ensemble strives to add a modern twist to classic arrangements while meticulously preserving the soulful essence of the pre-bebop era. At the heart of the band is singer and leading lady Luca Warmer. With her versatile, velvet vocals and a charismatic, professional stage presence, she captivates the audience from the first note. Together, these eight conservatory-trained talents transform an afternoon of authentic jazz into an unforgettable musical event.
